Adversity comes in many guises and is a potent ingrediant in performances of the highest personal order if those performances are at our realistic maximal level.

As a club looking at the feasability of adopting the new South African Athletics Association Talent Identification programme. A phenominal run by the Young 18 year old South African Girl. However she was made to look even better by the poor standard otherwise. Without Jelimo from Kenya in the field and athletes such as the stature of Mutola from a couple of years ago the race would have been much closer. Keep it easy

You would think the Centre of London location for the 2012 Olympic Games Triathlon would be a great venue for the British Junior and Youth Triathlon Championships.
On trawling the internet for a day and costing a relatively short trip due to the race start times it looks as though  a weekend in the South of France would have been both cheaper and easier to coordinate (even if I had chosen easy Jet as my airline of preference).
May be some will be forced to question the cost involved. Hopefully ...
