Saturday 17th  Although it seems a long way off the Swimming season commences again in September. With many of the younger members new to the Swimming world I have attached a brief file to explain some of the intracies. Worth considering is that entry closing dates to competitions can be between 4/6 weeks minimum before the competition date so they need to be planned well in advance. Over the past 10 years we have produced numerous athletes who have competed at National Championships and made Finals whilst there. Along with this many have made the Regional Championships with varying degrees of success including Golds, Silver and Bronzes. On top of this many of the Team compete or have competed at County Championships. Many of the younger athletes will be able to find opportunities to compete and gain experience that indirectly will help with there Triathlon development on top of an experience of another form of competition.

Offering a stepping stone to go into some of the competitions that we take part in as a club locally and around the region during the summer months. At the sametime offering the opportunity for more experienced members however old the opprtunity to have some pre season practice as we move into the Triathlon and Aquathon season. The event will use the pool and the astro turf. With the Swimming Gala again it is a low key opportunity to come along and swim some events to gain some experience and an introduction into swimming with again the possibility of then moving onto some external local events.
